Due to both Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Patrick County Heritage Book Volume II arrival has been delayed until late January or early February 2006. This book is being done in Mississippi, 75 miles from Biloxi and it became part of history itself. When Katrina struck, our book along with 14 others were taken to high ground and placed in plastic storage bins in a high water-proof vault. We are pleased that not any of the 15 books were damaged. Extra people were put on board to get all these books accomplished so we actually are helping to provide jobs when they are so desperately needed there. If you have prepaid for one, we will certainly be in contact with you prior to pickup day. If you haven't purchased a copy yet, extras will be available at the day of pickup. We are also accepting names and addresses for the Volume 1 reorder list, so if you didn't get yours, let us know and we'll add you to our list. We already have enough to reorder and the reorder will be done as soon as Volume II is completed. Thanks to everyone who submitted stories and pictures for this book.
