Reserves. A civil war stone was erected several years ago by family members in his honor and on May 13, 2006 at 2 o'ck pm at the Maple Shade Cem in Laurel Fork, Va., we will meet with the Jubal Early Sons of the Confederate Veterans Camp 1691 and the local 880 Chapter of the UDC to conduct this ceremony. Prior to the ceremony there will be a "Pot Luck" lunch at the fellowship hall at Green Mt. Miss. Baptist Church at noon. Please spread the word to all other family members and then contact one of us so we know who to invite. We would also ask for your assistance in sending us a family record sheet to compile for a planned handout being prepared for that day. We need names, dates and children of all descendants.
