I can't help with whether or not they stayed in the area, but she is named in her father's will (Patrick Co, VA; will written 4/27/1822 & returned May Court 1822, Will Book 1, page 149; inventory appraised 5/25/1822 & recorded October 1822, Will Book 1, Page 323-325) (see this link for a transcription: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/va/patrick/wills/thomas02.txt). Also, from another researcher so I can't verify this, they did marry in 1808: Bond 18 Dec 1808. Min. return 21 Dec 1808 - James Wade & Nancy Thomas. Sur. Benjamin Thomas. Min. Maning Hill.
