Also, your mention of Andy Griffith's mom reminded me to ask--does anyone know exactly how his mom connects to the family and descendants of William Nunn and Sally Beasley? I came across one of what I am sure is many versions of Andy's ancestry online but couldn't seem to make the connection myself. It's probably because I am still missing quite a few links in there, especially in the more recent lines. As I've mentioned before, I've been stuck on the Turner family from Montgomery and Davidson Counties, NC, and I am just now getting to a point where I can focus my attention elsewhere.
