My 5 G-Grandfather was Thomas Nunn, b. 1740. Elizabeth Nunn, his daughter, married William Stone on 14 Sep 1793. Two years later, William met with a very bad accident while working in the field. His will was drawn up on 7 Nov 1795, and he died shortly thereafter. Elizabeth Nunn Stone married Isaiah Maynor of Patrick County ca 1798/99. Their first son, Richard Tucker Maynor, was born on 19 Dec 1799. Their second son was Joseph Maynor, born 1800/1801. They had five additional sons, but I have not been able to discover their names. Elizabeth Nunn Stone Maynor died on 9 Nov 1835, Patrick County. Specificially, I am interested in any additional names of the children of Isaiah and Elizabeth. I know that Elizabeth was living at the family home with some of her daughters at the time of her death in 1835. Surely there are records of MAYNOR marriages in Patrick County after 1835. The house where Thomas NUNN - Bettie ALEXANDER raised their family is still standing in Henry County. It was called PLAINFIELD FARM, and was passed down from one NUNN generation to another until 1908. The land on which this home was built was once patented to Thomas Jefferson. I know that another of Thomas Nunn's children, Joseph, married Elizabeth INGRAM. Joseph and Elizabeth had a son named Ingram NUNN. Ingram Nunn married Elizabeth DUNN, and they had a son named Thomas Dunn NUNN. Thomas married Frances Clark, and their daughter Elizabeth Ann Frances NUNN married Abram Sandifer Boaz. Thus we have the NUNN - BOAZ family. Sue Maynor Thompson
