In general, I was trying to obtain more info on Charlotte's parents, Richard Vaughan and Frances Adams Vaughan. They are very illusive. The Patrick Co. Historical Society had the info when I visited in 1999 that Elisha and Mary were the parents of Isham. After inquiring, several Lawson researchers contacted me to say that this is incorrect. In my own research I have found nothing to prove who his father is. I am certainly not placing any blame on you. This info, however incorrect, has been all over the net for years now.
