I descend from Jerusha "Ruth" FRAZIER who, when she married, was said to be the daughter of Elizabeth BOWLES. (See WINGFIELD, Marshall, MARRIAGE BONDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY VIRGINIA 1786-1858, p. 73: "DILLION, Joseph and Jerusha FRAZIER, dau. Elizabeth BOWLES, Feb. 5, 1831. Sur. Solomon KING.") I also have Elizabeth FRAZIER marrying Joseph BOWLES (See WINGFIELD, Marshall, MARRIAGE BONDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY VIRGINIA 1786-1858, p. 42: "BOWLES, (BOLES) Joseph and Elizabeth FRAZIER, Oct 5, 1812. Sur. Geo. TURNER." Then there is Abraham or Alexander FRASER and Elizabeth NOE (See Patrick Co., Virginia Marriage Register, photostat copy in Virginia State Library and Archives, Richmond: 1792, 12 December, Abraham/Alexander FRAZOR m. Elizabeth NOE, Surety: Samuel NOE, Quila BLAKLEY.) Are these Elizabeths all the same person?
