    3. I would like to invite everyone to our Genealogy meeting at Mayodan Public Library this Sunday, April 2 at 2:30pm - 4:00pm; the speaker will be Bob Carter a well known historian of Rockingham County. Also please remember our Spring Swap Meeting that is also coming up April 29, 2006, at the Sauratown Fire Station with is on Hwy 66 (Stokes Co.) near King, NC, from 9:00am-4:00pm. Bring your research, photos etc. to share and hopefully find some new cousins. There will be allot of information from around the area for your research. A copying machine is also provided for use (5 cents per copy to help defer cost). All is free and open to everyone, with light refreshments provided. 3. Thought I would let you know Pete Philpott has published the "1860 census Patrick County, Virginia" and wanted to know if you wanted one...$30 each. Let me know, as he only sent six, and I have two left. --- Southernkid <southernkid@kimbanet.com> wrote: > I would like to invite everyone to our Genealogy > meeting at Mayodan Public Library this Sunday, April > 2 at 2:30pm - 4:00pm; the speaker will be Bob Carter > a well known historian of Rockingham County. > > Also please remember our Spring Swap Meeting that is > also coming up April 29, 2006, at the Sauratown Fire > Station with is on Hwy 66 (Stokes Co.) near King, > NC, from 9:00am-4:00pm. > Bring your research, photos etc. to share and > hopefully find some new cousins. 3. Pat, let me check on this. I don't think we have this in our Genealogical Library, but I'll check when I get home and if not, I'll give you a call to reserve one for us. Thanks for thinking of us.
