If anyone researching the "GOIN" family ever comes across someone with the first name "Missouri" or "Zurah" or something similar, born early 1800s, PLEASE contact me. We feel there is a strong possibility that my husband's g-g-g grandmother may have come from this group and, perhaps, that is why we can not seem to locate her. One of her daughters reportedly did tell relatives that she had "Indian" bloodlines and was known to be of a darker complexion. We would really be thrilled if we found "Missouri" was part of this family!
