    3. First, Thanks very much for your message. Yes! these are the Reynolds I am referring to. My wife is Deborah Reynolds. Her Reynolds line follows: 1 Jesse Reynolds Sr, b. 1763 b. Pittsylvania (now Patrick), d. Patrick 2 Jesse Reynolds Jr., b. 1800 b. Patrick, d. Franklin 3 Andrew J. Reynolds, b. 1833 b. Patrick, d. Russell 4 William B. Reynolds, b. 1865 b. Lee, d. Russell 5 Charles E. Reynolds Sr., b. 1902 b. Russell, d. Russell 6 Charles E. Reynolds Jr. b. 1925 b. Russell, d. Tazewell 7 Deborah G. Reynolds b. Tazewell According to documents I have researched, Moses was the father of Abraham David Reynolds, who was the ancestor of Harden W. and R.J. Reynolds. According to a Henry County Deed, Marriage Records, etc, Moses was the brother of my wife's ancestor Jesse, Sr. Meekins Reynolds was the brother of Abram David Reynolds. Meekins was administrator of his uncle, Jesse Sr's estate. I am preparing a book on the descendants of these Reynolds families, I would appreciate any info you can provide, particularly a Gedcom listing descendants of Abram David Reynolds who md. Mary Polly Harbour. Abram was the son of Moses Reynolds; not David Reynolds as S. F. Tillman and many others indicate. I have located a Chancery Case transcription that lists Abram among Moses' children. In addition, this is supported by tax lists, deeds, and marriage records. I am trying to determine who were the parents of Moses, Jesse, et al. If you have any info in that direction, I'd be very interested. Would you send me more descriptive information on the contents of your book? Are there copies for sale? "Certainly, the most famous family in the Critz area was the Reynolds family. Moses Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds and Abram Reynolds all seem to have originally settled in the Smith River and Rock Castle Creek section of Northern Patrick County, but all migrated in the first half of the 19th century to the area south of No. Business Mountain where they acquired large acreages of land. Abram Reynolds married Mary Harbour in 1809.... " Patrick Co. History I can write more, but are we talking about the same family. Harden Harbour Reynolds, son of Harden and Nancy Cox Reynolds married my lst cousin Annie Dobyns, daughter of Samuel and Ruth Lawson (my great aunt) Dobyns of Patrick County, VA. I authored a book on Virginia Settlers and it contains much about the Reynolds' families, but I am not sure how kin you may be to them. There is James Reynolds, son Jesse Reynolds, son James Fay Reynolds, etc. Let me know.
