Jeremiah Moles Sr. (above) married 18 July 1778 in Chesterfield Co VA. ======================================= The Jeremiah Moles who married Elizabeth Scott on the 20 June 1802 in Augusta County is a different Jeremiah than the ones who married Milly Reynolds or Lydia Smith. In other words, there were three different Jeremiah Moles living in Virginia in the same historial timeframe. Jeremiah Moles & Elizabeth Scott were living in Giles County, VA/WV in 1815. They were found living in Logan County, VA/WV in the 1830 Census. They were living in Fayette County, VA/WV in the 1840 Census. Elizabeth died after 1840 in Fayette County; Jeremiah died after 1850. This Jeremiah Moles was born ca 1764 (according to census records), and his place of birth is unknown. Elizabeth was born in Maryland. Any additional information you might have would be appreciated.
