    1. PATRICK COUNTY HERITAGE BOOK
    2. I'm among those who could not afford to purchase the new book. And as Mizzkat says I would appreciate any little tidbits that could be tossed my way. But that is neither here nor there...I am upset about the attitude of those involved in the book. There is not, and never has been, one person who can do their genealogy without assistance from others. In the few times I have been lucky enough to go to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, I have had the opportunity to go through the numerous county history books and pick up the little tidbits. These books are notorious for printing half truths since the items are not proven. However, they may sometimes furnish a clue that can get you on the track of the correct information. In all the many years I have pursued this insanity we call genealogy I have never known such selfishness. It appears that the committee who put the book together did it for love of money and not love of genealogy. I hope there never comes a time when these persons need the help of someone else. Mizzkat you are not alone. =(^!^)=
