    3. Dear Alpha & List, I have a wonderful story about this book and the article I wrote for it- First I worked hard/searched/prayed -hit brick wall after brick wall for 10 years looking for anything on my GGrandfather John William Lee's family- all I knew was he was born in VA in about 1850---that was it!! On November 10, 2005 I finally received a response to an Inquiry I had posted in January 1999 on the " Ancestry Boards" for my Grandmother's 2 Half sisters and have not stopped receiving Family History since. By March 2005 I had Vol. I Patrick County History Book, and the Lewis Pedigo Book- and had met many, many new cousins in VA, NC and in TX where GGrandpa John Wm Lee lived and married 3 times, where my Grandmother Emma Akin (Lee) Luster- McBee was born into the 2nd marriage. About that time I learned about the new book being put together so I tried to write a short article on my 3X-Grandparents Benjamin & Virginia (Fulkerson) Frazier's family including information on their oldest daughter Ann Mariah Frazier & Peter Alexander Lee's family, my Great Grandfather John Wm. Lee was their oldest son- they had migrated to Lamar County, Texas by 1860. Well the short story turned in to a pretty long article-well over the fee limit- and still didn't tell the entire story by any-means. I am just grateful that the Historical Society is there and so very helpful and to all those Wonderful New Cousins that provided their Family information to me, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to ALL of you. Since the book, I have put a little more of our Family information and pictures reported to be of Peter Alexander & Ann Mariah Frazier Lee on our Home page that I didn't have in time for the book. Surnames in Patrick County that I am connected to; starting with John G Lee married 2 Frans/Franz/France daughters, Susan (my GGGGrandmother and when she died her younger sister Nancy. Other's are Carter, Jones, Critz, Fulkerson, Frazier, Tudor, Herford, Blackard, Dunovant, Shelton, and the List goes ON and ON...... My Best to All of you, hope you are as fortunate as I was, I have very deep roots in Patrick County, VA-Due to health I will never get to visit there but I can learn about it from the Books and know it is a Beautiful part of our Country. Thank you for sharing.
