    3. I greatly apologize for being the "mooch" I am fixing to sound like, but I would like to humbly ask a big favor of those who have received their Patrick Co. book: At this point in time, we simply couldn't spring for the book, but I would sincerely appreciate it if, while you are reading through your copy, you come across the name of "Fulcher," you would keep me in mind. I am not asking for a "look up" or any special attention what so ever, but just that as you read, you just might let that name stick in your head and pass on tidbits you may come across. Like I said, I know I sound like a free-loader, but it simply wasn't in the tight budget right now to get the book. We would really like to be able to head to Virginia this summer, so every nickel counts! Thanks in advance, MizzKat -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. 3. I would like to respond to this e-mail. In keeping with the copyright terms of our Patrick County Heritage Book, no part of this book may be put on the listserve without the prior permission of the submitter or submitters. All works submitted by the Patrick County Heritage Book Committee are covered under our copyright. All other works belong to the individual submitters and prior permission must be obtained first before this information can be used on the listserve. I will give an example of why this is done, in one county that had already done a Heritage Book a person actually took the book and transferred it to CD and was selling the book in violation of the copyright without permission from the Chairman and the Committee. We enjoy sharing our information with all of you and just kindly ask that you ask the submitters first. That is what genealogy is all about is the sharing and learning and discovering your roots while at the same time showing respect to those persons who have given their time, money, and upmost effort to trace their family lineages. Alpha Hiatt, Chairman Believe you me, I do understand MizzKat's financial position, but at the same time, our copyright must be honored. --- Fulcher <fulcher@gdsys.net> wrote: > I greatly apologize for being the "mooch" I am > fixing to sound like, but I would > like to humbly ask a big favor of those who have > received their Patrick Co. > book: > > At this point in time, we simply couldn't spring for > the book, but I would > sincerely appreciate it if, while you are reading > through your copy, you come > across the name of "Fulcher," you would keep me in > mind. > > I am not asking for a "look up" or any special > attention what so ever, but just > that as you read, you just might let that name stick > in your head and pass on > tidbits you may come across. > > Like I said, I know I sound like a free-loader, but > it simply wasn't in the > tight budget right now to get the book.
