    3. Leon, I am so happy for you. Yes the YDNA is a good tool. I am sorry about the death of your mother. I just found out the other day, else you would have received a card. I will write you as much as I can about my DeHarts. Did you buy my book. If so you have the picture of Susan Malinda DeHart and you have the background of the DeHarts. My line is Aaron DeHart who married Malinda Ellender Dennis. Elijah was the first to move from Amherst Co., VA to the Charity section of Patrick Co., VA. All of that family was in Patrick Co., VA by 1799. Aaron died between September 1793 and April 1795.The Charity section includes all of that part of Patrick County north of the Smith River and east of Widgeon Creek to the Floyd and Franklin County lines. James was born in 1765. Elijah born in 1776, Gabriel P. Dehart (mine) born 1780, died 1870, Mary and Susannah. I am sure you will check out my book. I am in the midst of doing a Supplement as asked for by the Stuart Library. Do you want to keep it a secret about Charlied Creed's DeHart father, or can I add that in my book. My Mom's great grandmother was Susan Malinda DeHart. If I find any pictures, I will send them to you.
