John Ellis Lawson, born January 1, 1920 in Meadows of Dan, Patrick Co., VA is the son of Turner and Agnes Shelor Lawson, both now deceased. Ellis married Marie Lievers of Chicago, IL in 1954. Rank: Technician 5th Grade of the Signal Depot Core, attached to the Air Force. Date of Entry: January 26, 1942. Date of Separation from Germany: September 24, 1945 at Fort Mead, MD. Lawson, Floyd Camden. Floyd Camden Lawson, born December 31, 1917, Meadows of Dan, Patrick Co., VA, deceased June 14, 1978, son of Turner and Agnes Shelor Lawson, both now deceased. Floyd married Arlene Sweeney of Floyd, VA. Rank: Sergeant, attached to the Infantry. Date of Entry: June 1941, Date of Separation from Germany: first part of September 1945 at Fort Mead, MD.
