    3. Hello, I am descended from WILLIAM JOSEPH CASSADY, JR. born December 7, 1877 in Patrick County, Virginia, but his birth year could be off as much as 10 years. He married VIRGINIA ETTA DALTON born January 27, 1880 in Patrick County, Virginia. He and his family moved from Patrick County, Virginia between 1910-1920 to Mt. Airy, Surry County, North Carolina. I would be interested in talking to someone else in this line and/or anyone that may have information that pertains to this family. If someone has access to the Patrick County census for 1900, would you please do a look-up on this family? Thank you Diane H. 3. Cousins, The Foley family researchers have a Martha Elinor Foley listed as the child of Bartholomew and Barbara Hundley Foley, Henry Foley doesn't exist, and Steele is nowhere in the surnames. I can't find a marriage in Washington Co, but there is one in Ohio Co between Martha Elinor Steele and Henry Foley. However, since the family seems to be centered in Patrick Co, it makes me wonder why this one marriage is so far away. I believe that Henry Foley, not Martha Elinor,is the child of Bartholomew and Barbara Hundley Steele. I'm looking for a way to prove or disprove these connections by finding a husband or parents for Martha Elinor Steele(Foley). The Foley researchers have no husband listed for her. Any help with the Foley/Hundley/Steele/Marlow question would be tremendously appreciated. 3. Information in my database has Martha STEEL married to Henry FOLEY on 15 Mar 1821 in Washington Co., VA. I don't have a notation as to the source of the marriage information. I have Henry FOLEY as the son of Bartholomew and Barbara Hundley FOLEY. Henry b. ca 1791 and Martha b. ca 1800 and the daughter of Richard and Elinor Marlow STEEL. Hope this helps and I apologize for not having the sources. My OE Pilson Cemetery book is packed up til we move, so I couldn't perform that lookup. 3. My ancestor Beckwith LYELL bca 1793 married Peggy (Margaret) OWEN 18 Sept 1815 in Pittsylvania Co. Va. She was the daughter of David OWEN and Peggy NELSON (She gave concent). Later there are LYELL & LYLE in Henry Co., but I can't locate Beckwith before his marriage, or what might be his parents. No proof, but his father may have been Richard LYELL. Beck named his first son Richard. Others were named Robert, John and William. Any help appreciated. Mary in ILL.
