    2. Gracie Stover
    3. Hi Barb and Terri; If either of you want my Ogle GEDCOM file, let me know and I will send it, by private email. :) Unfortunately, all I have is that Lucretia md Mathew David Scott.. I have the Ogles on further back from her though and I have Ogles I havn't put into my database yet, so it still needs work, but I will be glad to send what I have. Scotts is a line I am really stuck on at this time. I have gg-grandparents, Lewis Stover,(s/o Obediah, s/o Jacob) born abt 1825 and Nancy Scott, born abt 1830, md 27 Apr 1847 in Fayette Co, VA(now WV) I havn't been able to get a handle on her parents, except her mother may have been an Elizabeth Allen, or she may have had a second marraige to an Allen. I know, good clues, huh??? There are records in Patrick Co early 1800's that show a Jacob Stover and an Obediah Stover in Patrick Co. Our records, however indicate that Jacob was from Franklin Co, but he still could have owned the land in Patrick and his son Obediah been there as well. Since the Stovers as well as other Patrick Co families ended up in Raleigh Co, WV, then perhaps my Nancy Scott's family came from there as well, so I am interested in the Scott family. I am interested in any of the Patrick Co families that ended up in Raleigh Co. My direct lines just in the Raleigh Co and Fayette Co areas are: Stover, Wriston, Scarborough, Standley, Bailey. and it does seem like they end up being related in some way to the other families. :) I have Blankenships and Allens and Smiths in Wyoming Co also. I won't even go into the other South Western part of WV that I am related to. :) Jacob Stover, and his wife Sallie McGhee(another line I am researching) settled in what is now Raleigh Co, WVA, Gracie Barb R. wrote: > > Terri, Gracie & All, > Does this look familiar? Date: Friday, August 14, 1998 1:48 PM Hello, all! I'm searching for these families in Patrick Co., VA: WOOD: Richard "Dickey" WOOD (1772-1859) and his four wives. ---I would love to have more information on his wives, his children, their spouses. I descend from his son, Patrick Alexander "Alex" WOOD, md. Bethany BRAMMER. I'm interested in ancestors, as well (duh, Lainie, that's what it's all about, right? I crack myself up!!!). COCKRAM: Rachel COCKRAM (ca. 1775-1823) was the first wife of Richard WOOD. She was the mother of Patrick Alexander "Alex" WOOD. BRAMMER: John BRAMMER (1771-1847) and his wife.... ---am attempting to determine his ancestors...I have his father as John BRAMMER, mother as Mary BURGESS. Grandfather probably was John BRAMMER, married to Jane LIGHT. Great-grandfather might have been John BRAMMER who married Unknown CLARK. Great-great-grandfather might have been Thomas BRAMMER married to Marguerite DEACON. I have not proved these lines. LEE: Sarah LEE (ca. 1777-ca. 1845), wife of John BRAMMER ---Bethany BRAMMER was their daughter. I would be interested in anything on this couple, and am attempting to find Sarah's parents. Some say her mother was a POORE, some say she was a BRAZILL. My lines migrated from VA, and most of them settled in the Mercer, Monroe, Summers, Raleigh, Fayette, Kanawha, Greenbrier Counties of West Virginia. Many thanks in advance! Lainie Hendrix
