May 21, 2005 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the VFW Post 1115 in Hillsville. It is being co-sponsored by the VFW and Omega Church and Office Supply . The Heritage Swap Meet is open to everyone with an interest in local and family history. Participants are encourage to bring family photographs, genealogical and historical materials to share with others. A copier will be available. Area clubs, organizations and civic groups are invited to set up information and or maintain 1 to 2 sales tables. Any individual may also set up a table for displaying. Those wishing to participate are asked to respond before May 2nd, 2005. Plans are also underway to include authors, artists, and vendors of genealogy and historical products. There will be a charge to all vendors to set up for the day. The VFW will offer breakfast and lunch throughout the day.
