    3. Pat - yes, I did get your info.--I think you emailed me directly. There's been discussions on Harris Mailing List on Overton Harris & we pretty much have him documented from his parents to his birth of 1762 Hanover Co. to his 1834 death in Todd Co., KY. And, it looks as tho he might be of the Wm/Temperance Harris line. What I don't have is all of Overton's children--only two I'm aware of is Lewis & Elizabeth m Groom. I'm told his heirs are mentioned in a deed book of Todd Co., Ky following Overton's 1834 death. Overton is not my line (at least not to my knowledge) but the interest in him stems from his dau's marriage in Orange Co. where my Harris line was. Overton went from being born in Hanover Co. in 1762 s/o Benjamin/Mary Harris, to living in Louisa Co. m his cousin Jemima Harris, then migrating in 1819 to Todd Co., Ky. His father d 1765, his mother then m Elias Thomasson 1774 Louisa Co. who then became guardian of Overton & his siblings, Robert, Benjamin, Nancy. Louisa Co. Marriages, 15 October 1789 Overton Harris and Jemima Harris, daughter of Frederick Harris. Sur. Robert Harris, Jr. and Ann O. Harris p. 46 What seems strange is the fact Overton had moved to Ky in 1819 & yet his dau. m 1823 Orange Co. Va. Thank you for taking the time to verify your response to me on this issue.
