Bob, I wonder if you might be able to answer a question that I've had for some time. This is not an Orange Co. question as much as it is a "geographic names" question. I have been looking for a creek in Botetourt Co., VA: Long's Entry Creek. It doesn't appear on contemporary maps nor have I been able to find it on antique maps. Does the U.S. Board of Geographic Names have a data base of defunct geographic names and a locator tool which allows for correct placement of historic names on contemporary maps? Thank you.
