Samuel Drake was mentioned in the Road Order Books in 1734 and 1738. He was on a list of those who had paid their passageway "from abroad" in 1735. By 1748, the only reference to him in the road books was a mention of "the field where Samuel Drake used to live." I'm looking for any information on him. Where did he come from? When and on what ship? Where did he go? Whom did he marry and who were his children? When did he die? A Samuel Drake was mentioned in Bedford CO in 1763 and John and Benjamin Drake were mentioned there with Samuel in 1767. Was this the same Samuel or his son?
