Saw your post for Mary E. Grady. I saw in the 1860's Census for Orange County Va. a Mary W. Grady age 6 born in 1854, and a Mary E. Grady born in Louisa County, right next door to Orange County, born 1857. Is these the Mary Grady's you looking for. Cathy
Hi Cathy, Thanks for that. I had seen the Mary E. Grady in Louisa. She is a good prospect, I think. In fact, I copied that census sheet for further research... My Mary E. was supposedly born circa 1861, but I have seen some ages get shifted around between censuses for MUCH more than 4 years, so I am following up on Mary E. Grady, born in Louisa as my first prospect at this point. :-) I am still not sure I am ready to call it a direct hit, but it is in the right direction. :-) Thanks for your input!
