My William J. Proctor b. 1815 Orange Co.,. is my brick wall. He m. Ann H. Young in 14 Dec. 1834 Orange Co., In 1845 they had a son James Malcolm b. in Madison Co., per his tombstone with date of death 1866. Also a daughter Columbia "Lummie" b. 1850 most likely in MS. Ann was the daughter of Daniel Young and wife Elizabeth Rhoades. Several of her siblings came to MS also and are found in 1850-60 Censuses of Holmes Co. Emily F. Young, Lucy J. Young who m. William Herndon in Orange Co., Walter W. Young and George E.Young. We do not know where Walter or Lucy went after 1860-70. They dropped off any of the censuses we can find online. Any info on any of these people would be helpful. Particularly the parents of Wm. Proctor. Since he and Ann only had one child who only had one child of her own, I am almost alone in searching for William's ancestors. Thanks, Betty
