My Taylors are of Culpeper/Madison County. I know it isn't exactly the county but they are so close, and my 4th great grandfather William Peachy CROW who was married to Elizabeth TAYLOR daughter of JOHN TAYLOR and ELIZABETH CRIGLER was born in Essex. My brick wall is John Taylor who was born in 1756 in Culpeper, VA. Maybe there is a link. Sincerely, Erin T.
