Barb, do you (or if Marshall is not your maiden name your husband) descend from the Marshall family found in the Orange/Culpeper area in the 1700 and or 1800's? In a the will of Benjamin Hawkins who died circa 1841, Benjamin leaves a bequest to Matilda W. Marshall. He also mentions Susanna (my copy of the will is so poor and hard to read that I am not sure that the first two letters of this person's name are Su...) and Coleman Hawkins Any chance that you know any of these people?
