In the information from Virginia Baptist Ministers there is information that my 2-gr-grandfather, Edward Pinkard Hawkins was educated at J. B. Newman's between Blue Run and Orange Court House. Since E.P. was baptized in Blue Run Baptist Church circa 1814, I assume that that is what is referred to in this statement. Does anyone know if there are any sort of existing early records for either Blue Run Baptist Church or for J. B. Newman's school in Orange County? And if so where can I find them? Marsha in WV
