Hughes of Orange County. I think he was married to a Lee. He had at least 2 children, Sadie Elviston Hughes who married Harry Holladay Pendleton and Earnest Hughes who married Nellie(or Nannie) Pendleton. I know a John W. Hughes from Orange County served in the CSA during the Civil War, but I am not sure if it is the same John W. Hughes. Any information would be very much appreciated. Kristi
