I list George FOUSHEE, b. 16 Jun 1756 in Orange Co., Virginia, d. 13 Aug 1833. I don't have Ann's mother. [Records from National Archives in Washington, DC Virginia - Foushee - George: Number S 8505, Pension of George Foushee: Declaration: On 19th September, 1832, before Thomas Hill, Justice of the Peace, appeared George Foushee, of the County of Culpeper, Virginia, aged 76, who made the following declaration. He entered service of the United States under the following named officers. Born 16th June, 1756, in Orange County, Virginia. First went into service in October, 1776, under Captain James Thomas and Colonel Alcock and ____ John Sleet. That he marched to Hunter's Forge near Falmouth when that place was threatened by the enemy, they being at the river below. I then list George's parents as John FOUSHEE, b. ?, d. 1779 in Culpeper Virginia, and Abphia or Apphia ? [Will of John Foushee, written 1777, probated 1779: In the name of God amen. Accidents which she my said Wife shall be yet living & in that case she will or may confer on or give unto such a one so sustaining loss such Negroes or such Effects as she shall best Judge as
