Hi, I'm new to this list. I'm searching for information on my ggg grandfather, George H. Padgett; born in "Orange Court House," VA (don't know what year), married Mary E. (nee?), and died in Fairfax, VA about 1866 (no age given). As you can see, lots of gaps. Any suggestions on how to obtain info from the Court House would be appreciated.
