OK. I apologize....I think that i have gotten to exactly this point before....and had the same thought--WOW--I am starting to recognize these people...but I am missing too many entries to make it all make sense. My next entry that I viewed isn't until 1803 which has me running to my other files...I have copied both the grantor and the grantee index and there were entries as early as 1738 for Joseph Hawkins and I see some between William Hawkins and William Pannill in the period between 1770 and 1803....and others....I just don't have enough information here to have these make sense. I need to do some more studying before I do all of his posting. Marsha in WV
