Va Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Va/Orange/10589 Surname: Pratt, Holderness, Vernon, Hamm, Branham, Mankspile ------------------------- William Pratt died in Orange County, Virginia in Jan. 1748/49, leaving a will naming wife Anne, daughters Sarah Branham and Anne Mankspile and sons John Pratt, William Pratt and Joseph Pratt. I have researched this family back to 1540 in England and am still working. I would be interested in sharing information with anyone researching this family. The Robert Holderness and Thomas Hamm families of Caroline County, Virginia were intertwined with this Pratt family. Also, the family of Thomas Vernon, Sr. is related. Information on any of these peripheral groups would be welcomed.
