Jacob Layton had a Guardian Bond recevid in Oct. 1744 in Orange Co.,VA. I am trying to track down a James Laugton-Layton who married Mary_____1750's.They were from Bertie Co.,NC,but had come from Virginia.Their names James,John,William, Thomas and Theodores. James Layton had a daughter named Ann. I hope can find some help. Thanks.
