There was a Younger HARDWICK listed in the 1774 Tithables for Louisa Co., and I have assumed that he was Elizabeth STATHAM's husband. But as in your case, it was just a guess. What do you know about your John? Why do you think he had two wives or that he would have been married to Elizabeth STATHAM? Love STATHAM's other children seem to have married in the period 1758-1774. All we really know about Elizabeth is that she was married when her father wrote his will in 1781.
