My Youngs, Robert and Agnes Crockett Young, settled in early Augusta Co., VA on Back Creek when it was still Orange Co. in 1740. Robert had brothers Hugh and William. A sister Jane who m. Patrick Cook and then Andrew Steel. Other probable siblings are John, James, Sarah/Sally and Samuel. This large Young family came from Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland where they lived for nearly 100 years after having fled Argyll, Scotland. They entered this country at Philadelphia. I have a lot of Young info to share. I am trying to put this whole family back together again and need all the help I can get. Thanks!
