It is reported he was born in either Orange County or Madison County. Whitfield turns up in Cooper Co. MO in 1838 and married Lemanda Turley. They spent the remainder of their lives in Randolph County, MO. I'm trying to locate the parents of Whitfield Reynolds. Could it be his parents were Richard Reynolds and Lucy Finnell who married 24 Dec 1800 in Orange Co? So far I haven't found any siblings for Whitfield, but in 1840 Whitfield Reynolds was living adjacent to a James Finnell, age 60-70.
