In one of the documents that I was reading there was an Ambrose Smith who married (I believe her name was Mary Bell) He was the son of Edward Bell. But, please search this out for yourself as I wouldn't want to tell you something wrong. I will keep your query and in the furture when I am caught up on my projects look this up as I copied all Smith and Bell records from the courthouse there. Also, the fact that Caroline, Culpeper, Spotsylvania and Orange counties are just a few minutes apart and some of them formed from each other I found information about these families in different places (including Frederickburg.) I will keep you in mind. If you want to contact me privately in a few days I will try and look up some of the things that are handy to see what I have. I have Bell-Smith, information and Smith-Coleman information because I am not sure which is mine.
