For those who are interested in visiting an Atkins Grave site at the base of the Shenandoah National Park (unsure at this time, whether it is a part of the Park, but I believe so). The walk is short and close to the road. Wayne Baldwin, a genealogist of 20 years or so has agreed to take us there. He says the gravesite is huge. We will meet at the Faith Mountain Outlet in Sperryville, VA at 10 a.m. on May 1, 2001. It's not very far from there. Wayne will be driving a white jeep with license plates, which read "Kinseeker". All who are interested may attend. Bring water, a snack if desired and wear good walking shoes.
