Orange Co., VA Marriages Tandy COLLINS married to Ann Beagley (d/James Sr.), 7 Feb 1809; Sur: Sanford Beagley, Wit: Robert Beagley Theodosia BEASLEY married John McMULLAN I have their children as Patrick and John, both born Orange Co., VA. John McMULLAN married to Elizabeth STOWERS. That's all I have on that family group and it is not documented.. I also have a William BEASLEY married to Betsy POWELL, 25 Dec 1797, Orange Co., VA I have no further info on that couple. The next info I have is mainly in land purchases by John PAGE connected with James and Jeremiah BEASLEY. 1758 Nov - James BEASLEY & wf. Ann to JOHN PAGE, all of Orange Co. for 73 Lbs. - 250 acres on Goospond Mt - borders the N. Fk. of Swift Run, "thence up the Hollar of Poor Mountain, the south side of the mountain". Wits.: Wm. Ann to JOHN PAGE, all of Orange Co. - for 10 Lbs. - 96 acres at the Great Mountains and on the East side of the "pond mountain". Wits.: Richard Thomas (no wife joined in this Thomas Bell deed or was examined James Taylor* to relinquish her dower Edward Thomas rights) * James Taylor was called "James Taylor, Jr." when this deed was recorded. Sarah to JOHN PAGE, all of Orange Co. - for 7 Lbs. money of VA - 122 acres "on spurs of the great mountains joining the said PAGE's land". No witnesses. Made: 28 May 1769 Recorded: 26 May 1773 Note at side of deed: "Del'd to Elijah PAGE the 5th of Dec'r 1794" (Orange Co., Va Deed Bk. 16, p. 86-88 12 Sep 1789 John Page of Orange Co. writes his will. Witnesses: John McMULLAN, Lewis STOWERS and Samuel Self. Orange Co. Will Book 3, page 200/201 Tthat covers the BEASLEY info I have. Jeremiah Beasly was in the Revolutionary War. After the war he lived in Rockingham County. It seems he lived in Orange County before the war. He has son Valentine, Bennet and James. These sons may of married in Orange County. >>
