Smith (b 1783) married Nancy "Ann" Jacobs (b 1790) 24 Mar 1812 in Orange County, Virginia. Bradford served in Capt Harding's Co, 45th Rgt, Virginia Militia in War of 1812. Bradford took the surname of Smith when his mother remarried a Smith. His surname was originally Duncan. He kept the name Duncan as part of his name thereafter, as Bradford D. Smith, sometimes D. Bradford Smith. He and Nancy relocated to Kentucky just before 1820. I would appreciate any information concerning Bradford and his family. Bradford is my g-g-g grandfather.
