Hi, I'm a new member and very happy to be here! I've been searching for the father of my gg grandfather Green W. Southard for five years. I received information today that his father's name was John Southard (b 9 Sep 1758 in Beifield VA d 1833 in Orange Co.VA). First of all does anyone have any Southards in their line this could tie into? Secondly ... is Beifield also in Orange Co? It doesn't show on any maps of VA.... I realize it could be a town that died out long ago but I was hoping that one of you might know of it. Also.....is there anyone on this list who can do look ups for people?
