    3. Hi, everyone, In tracing my HARRIS family, and the STEVENS family back from Culpeper, it seems that my Will Harris' father was living on land granted in 1747 in Culpeper to Dr. Joseph WALSH (Welch/Welsh); his agent in Culpeper was Charles DEWITT Jr. (In later Culpeper records, it seems that Thomas WELCH Jr. [son of Thomas WELCH of Orange {and apparently? the grandson of Joseph WALSH?] was living on the land that Joseph WALCH/Welch/Welsh had patented [along with my Will Harris, in 1781 and 1782 in Culpeper.]) Dr. Joseph WALSH/Welsh/Welch had lived in the same little Orange, VA neighborhood of John STEVENS (father of Edward STEVENS, who was recorded in 1770 as living on his father's Orange Co., VA land, but who later move.) So it seems to me that perhaps Edward Stevens knew my Harrises from their having been connected via the WALSH/ WELSH/WELCH family to the neighboring Stevens family in Orange Co.? I got the surviving book records from my state library, but it is missing p. 54, whereon apparently appears this deed from James & Elizabeth STEVENS to John STEVENS in Orange Co., VA (before any of the persons of any of these families moved to Culpeper Co., VA.) Can any of you provide me with this missing page or the complete STEVENS record from this book? It is a vital (and missing) part of my chain of documentation. I would appreciate any help any of you can give in this matter. Thanks so much, Pam pamstone@cfl.rr.com
