KY: In the name of God, Amen, I, Roger Mallory of Fayette County, State of Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament revoking all others hereto made by me. First I commend my soul to God that gave it and my body to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the descretion of my Executors and as for my wordly estate I leave in the following manner. First for all my just debts to be paid out of my Estate by my Executors and secondly that my son Ambrose Mallory and my son Samuel Mallory are to have full possession at my death the lands already deeded to them by myself and wife Sarah Mallory together with all their appurtances there unto belonging, and [thirdly? -GV] my negros and the whole of my movable property to be sold at public sale and on a credit of twelve months and the money it brings together with all my cash notes and accounts to be collected by my Executors and my wife Sarah Mallory to be well supported by them during her life and of the same at their descretion as she is not in her right mind and I wish them to take care of her and fourthly at her death for the whole amount of money remaining in their hands to be equally divided among four of my children, namely, my son James Mallory, my daughter Agness Mallory, my daughter Jane Smith and my daughter Frances Leach, with a reduction of fifty dollars from my son George Mallory and thirty dollars from my daughter Frances Leach which I have already given them, and fifthly,: the reason I have not mentioned the rest of my children in my will is that I have already given to them what I intended and lastly I do constitute my son-in-law William Smith and my son Ambrose Mallory and my son Samuel Mallory, Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Sep. 1743 Orange Co. VA married 1736 Orange Co. VA Sarah Street b. abt 1718 Orange Co. VA d. bef. Feb 1755. In Feb 1755 siblings Mary b. 1740, Roger (IV) b. 1742 and Uriel b. VA married 13 May 1787 Orange Co. VA Mary Payne b. abt 1776 Orange Co. VA. Their daughter, Elizabeth Mallory married 1787 in KY Joseph H. Kelly b. 29 Jan 1767 Spotsylvania Co. VA.
