    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/0AC.2ACE/945.1 Message Board Post: In the 1930 census, Parker is with his parents but his mothers name appears to be Dora L Berry, not Eunice... Living with them is the following person: Ardenia Shifflett, Audrey's mother-in-law, or Dora's mother as it were. She is 56 and a widow. So that would be one of Parker's grandmothers. In 1920, Audrey and Dora and their son Audrey are still living with Dora's mother, Ardania Shiflett. Now, they live next door to an Anne Berrey, age 79 and her daughter Laura Berrey, age 45...perhaps one of them is Audrey's mother ? Or perhaps his grandmother and aunt ? Two doors away is another Berrey family, Granville and Edith, ages 43 and 37. Audrey being 24 I doubt Edith is his mother but... Their trail grows cold in the census before 1920... In 1910 Ardenia is working as a servant in a home, and has her two daughters living there as well...Sarah and Dora, ages 15 and 8. Lastly, I can find the following in 1900... Anne Berry is living with her husband Walker J Berry. This is hte Anne who I think was living next door to Audrey in 1920. With them are a daughter Laura (mentioned above) and Granville. Again, not positive this is related but sure seems likely... Hope this helps some....

Just thought that I would send this along in case there was something helpful in it. My connection is that Polly Bickers Hawkins, being well off and having no children, and her husband, Benjamin Hawkins seemed to have been VERY close to my 3-gr-grandfather, Thomas R. Hawkins, and when Benjamin died he left much of what he had to Thomas. I have a very small amount of additional information about the Bickers family if this family connects to your below couples. But I have no information about any of families of any of Mary Polly Bickers Hawkins's brothers....only that her sister Joanna was married to Coleman Marshall. (which by the way interests me as my name is Marsha and I am named after my dad who is Marshall who was named after his dad who was Jesse Marshall Hawkins....son of Thomas.....perhaps the closeness of these families led to these names....Marsha in WV Dav3131@comcast.net wrote: >Message Board Post: > >Hello...So did your John and Susan "Bickers" have a daughter named Mary A. who married William A.
