    2. Bob Miller
    3. Posted on: Orange Co. Va Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Va/Orange/382 Surname: Miller, Tinder ------------------------- I just visited my great-uncle's grave at Palmyra United Methodist Church and found too many Millers! I found him, John Simeon Miller, and his wife, Josephine Foushee Miller, and their son, George Fletcher Miller. But, right next to them were Hugh Lee Miller (4/9/1907-10/7/1991) and his wife Myrtle Tinder Miller (10/8/1914-1/15/1999). I have no idea who these people were! They are not in the family genealogy. If they were not buried right next to my family members I would assume they were not related. But, the 5 graves are in a perfect row. Does anyone know these extra Millers, I don't want to leave them out of the family history if they belong there. Thank you, Bob Miller

    3. Hi Norman, Orange County did not exist until 1734. I am connected distantly to Robert E. Lee through his mother, Ann Hill Carter, who was a descendant of Robert "King" Carter such as I am through his grandson Benjamin Harrison V,Signer. Robert E. Lee was born in Westmoreland County at Stratford Hall plantation. I have never heard of any of his direct Lee family being in Orange County. As for the Taylors, I do not know about them. Where did you find information about Robert E. Lee's family being in Orange County? Or am Imisunderstanding? I do that sometimes! 3. Donna-- I'm a Coleman descendant. Without dates on your information I cannot tell if I have information for you or not. I tie into the Coleman line in Revolutionary times. Donna Hello, I am new to the list and currently researching the Rosson and Coleman families of Culpeper/Orange County. I have found a wealth of info on the Rosson's but the Coleman side is sketchy at best. I'm hoping there are other descendents of either family in here as I have enjoyed making the acquaintence of a few Rosson distant relatives and hope to do so for the Coleman side. The only Coleman info I have is a penned list that I believe my grandmother made long ago. It is not too detailed so I am hoping to find more hidden history.
