I am seeking information on Slayton Shiflett, b. abt. 1796, and died Apr 7, 1872, son of William Shiflett and Susannah Davis Shiflett, married Susannah Morris, Dec 21, 1818, and Justine Davis, Apr 5, 1827. I am unsure of all his children, but believe Charles Lewis Morris (as stated on his second marriage license to Mahalia Shiflett) and William Jefferson Morris (who married Luraney Shiflett) are two of his sons. I am also looking for information on Susannah Morris' family. Her parents were Ikey Morris and Elizabeth?. In addition to Susanna, b. abt. 1800, other children were Jeremiah, b. abt. 1799, John, and James Morris. Any information on these individuals would be appreciated.
