Many residents do place obits in the Richmond Times Dispatch. There is no paper in Lottsburg, but the "local" papers for that area (which carry obits for Lottsburg and surrounding towns) are the Northumberland Echo in Heathsville, VA (the county seat) and the Northern Neck News in Warsaw, VA.
