Rice Marine Railway, in Fairport was owned and operated by my uncle, Emory Rice. His son Carl (Sonny) Rice took it over until he sold it and went to work for Zapata Haynie. I spent many summers as a kid in the 50's in Reedville and around the railway. The yard turned out many fine boats.
