    3. Gayle: They are not indexed, but the name Boggess is one I would remember. There are Burgess families, but don't know any other variation. You cannot get lost down in that part of Va., because every side road you take will end up on the river, either the Coan, Potomac or Rappahannock. It's pretty country and I will try to help you if you know what points of interest you want to know about. Robert E. Lee's birthplace; as well as Geo. Washington's and the little towns each have their court houses and local churches on the main roads, mostly. What other name are you researching? I have Smith, Rock, Lewis, Dameron, Headley, Hall, Beauchamp/Beacham. Of course Clark and Headley being the main ones.     3. The 2002 BOGGESS Family Association Reunion will be held in Fredericksburg VA, September 26-29, 2002. This is the 14th annual reunion, being held in a different state each year. Those attending are descendants of Robert Boggus/Boggess who died in Northumberland County, 1661/1662. The reunion will be based at the Wingate Hotel. Day trips are planned for visiting Northumberland and Fairfax Counties where the BOGGESS family lived during the mid-1600's till thru the 1700's. A family dinner is planned for Saturday evening. There will be time set aside to spend chatting, talking and exchanging family research information. We will have family members traveling to the reunion from all over the US.
