I do have a list of birthplaces and other notable sites you mentioned. Natually, I'm looking for locations where the Boggess family lived. Talk about looking for the ultimate goal! I would like to be able to show everyone a location or two. The family arrived in the mid-1600's and left for Fairfax County in the 1700's. Births, marriages, etc... are mentioned in St. Stephens Parish Church records and various other records in the courthouse. Spellings are Boggis, Boggus, Baggus, Boggas, etc.... Other surnames we are researching: Auvelin/Auvling, Bennett, Samford. As you know, for the earlier spouses, maiden names were not always used. Thanks again, Gayle
